Denver International Airport (DIA) is located 3.5 hours away or 200 miles. 

 

McCook Regional Airport, is located 60 miles from Imperial and   provides air shuttle service to major airports

 

Imperial Municipal Airport serves medical specialists, air ambulance services and a number of corporate administrative personnel.

• ASOS (Automated Surface Observation System) weather reporting system is available.

• NDB (Non-Directional Beacon) equipment allows for ADF approach in some adverse weather conditions.

• 100 foot wide and 5,000 foot in length concrete runway. 

Highway

Imperial is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 6 and Nebraska State Highway 61 just 50 miles south of Ogallala, NE and Interstate 80.

        Railroad

Imperial is served by a spur of the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad operated by NKC Railway.

If riding the rail is more your style, there is an Amtrak stop in McCook, NE (MCK) just 60 miles away.
