 Imperial Volunteer Fire Department

The Imperial Volunteer Fire Department is an organization dedicated to fire safety and protection.  Funded through the City’s budget, 35 volunteers undergo local bi-weekly training sessions and attend fire school annually.  The City and Rural departments both own equipment for their areas, but the same volunteer firemen answer calls for both entities.  The department has a strong educational program and sponsors Junior Fire Patrol through the elementary school.
