Lied Imperial Public Library:
This recently expanded and renovated $1.5 million
facility offers: plenty of reading/study space, young
adult section, children’s library, computer lab with
various software applications and internet access, and a
conference room. The library holds more than 35,000
items including newspapers, magazines, large print
books, videos, audio books, reference and genealogy
materials, and participation in a national
Inter-Library Loan program.
Activities provided by the library:
Li’l Readers; interactive story/play program for
parents and tots ◊ Story Hour; stories, crafts and
activities for children age 3 – kindergarten ◊ Summer
Reading Programs ◊ occasional after school activities
and game nights for school age children, young adults,
and families ◊ Dial-a-Story ◊ Book Clubs, etc.
