The City of Imperial owns the airport, which is operated
by an elected
Airport Authority Board.
The 4,000 foot concrete runway provides access to local
business and pleasure flights as well as numerous
corporate flights and visiting specialist physicians who
hold clinics at the local hospital. The Imperial Airport
is lighted and equipped to handle Flight for Life
flights into and out of the community, making medical
access a definite benefit. Aircraft fuel is available by
calling the Airport Manager, Jeff Steggs, at 882-5121.
Hangar Rent is $75.00 for City residents and $100.00 for
anyone living outside the city limits. |
